Hi everyone my dd is six months old and since her dad has been back to work it’s mainly just me and her. She has always been a daddies girl but since he’s been working long shifts sometimes 8am-11pm I’ve been the one with her all day putting her to sleep. Today he’s had her and she will not sleep for him to the point she gets herself so worked up. As soon a as I asked for her back, which offended dad, she calmed right down. Has anyone else’s baby Become very clingy and will only settle with one person. I now feel awful and feel like I’ve made my partner feel like he’s not doing a good enough job when he’s a brilliant dad

Yup my lo got like that and covid wasn't even an issue then. DH worked shifts too.
I just had to let him get on with it so I could have a break. It let him bond and appreciate how tricky my lo could be. Its hard when you know you can do it quicker but it takes away your partners chance to try and improve things.
Shes still clingy at times worse since covid, but loves her daddy.
