when did u write that?

LyraSilvertongue · 03/10/2007 22:50

I'll remember this next time I'm tempted to snap at DSs.
I remember hovering around my mum when I wanted to talk about something important but being told to move out of the way

The last poem really brought tears to my eyes. My father is now 89 and has very severe Parkinson's disease so when you see him it is very easy to forget that once he was very active and loved to play tennis. He was also very handsome having seen the photos of him as a young man but now he sits and sleeps most of the time and it is very difficult to understand what he is saying.

I love that last one - my Grandma died a few months ago from advanced Alzeimers and she had to go into a nursing home at the end (which i know my mum still feels bad about).

Feel like sobbing now - but in a good way iyswim.
