6 month old hates car (maybe due to teething)

hi all.

Our 6 month old has been getting really distressed in the car recently.... maybe due to teething or reflux. He gets so upset he gags on his saliva.

My cousin has put a tablet around the headrest of their car seat so their kids can watch in the car to keep them calm but they were older.

Do you think I could do this for a bit or will it set a precedent. Am I just going to have to suck it up? He seems really young to put a tablet up but when I was in the back yesterday the only way to calm him was to stick cloud babys on my phone so he could watch 🙈

Hi @Cherry85 how often do you go on a car journey together? X

@Dexy2020

Quite a lot. If I am driving ans on my own with him its so difficult as he gets distressed and if I'm with the OH then I can distract him for a bit but 30mins in we are in the same situation and need to bring phone out to calm him down

Does he sleep in the car at all? Is it possible to time journeys around naptime? X
