So how good are the bambinex teddies then?

I want some.

Are they as absorbant as wambamboos/bambineos? And do they have fewer layers of terry in the booster due yo having a fleece layer? I love the idea of having fewer bits to loose/hang up when drying!

Also are the nippa version available yet?

I think they are great, not as absorbent as the bamboo ones but still very good. They booster is still seperate which I find better for girls as it can be placed where needed.

Nippa not officially available yet but I think Flame was having an aplix unpicking experiment

Flamesparrow · 03/10/2007 17:18

Yup - I do a very nice unpicking service

nappyzone · 03/10/2007 19:24

flame you have far to much time on your hands! they are fluffy and they dry really quick . They do a mint one now too which is nice...

Tis oddly relaxing Glass o' wine, dvd, nappy to unpick...

Dragonhart · 04/10/2007 21:21

Are they not doing the nippa ones then? Noticed on another site that you had to nippa the unpicked ones from the inside Flame. Will that be the same with the normal nippa ones? Is it difficult?

Nippa them from the inside? I'm baffled....

Ooooooooooooh - yes, I see what you mean, tis just that it grabs into the actual fabric rather than the loops (then I looked and realised the fluffle must too).

And thank you

Sazisi · 06/10/2007 00:11

I'm quite disappointed with teddies performance-wise: they just don't seem absorbant really. They are soooo cute and fluffy though, and look very comfy on their little bums (until they have a wee!) I've taken to boosting them with other stuff. To sum up: I like having a couple of teddies, but I wouldn't want a drawer full

spookthief · 06/10/2007 00:54

We're using them as a night nappy and no problems leak-wise. Ds not a heavy wetter though.

I love them. So quick to dry and slimmer than a Fluffle. Love the colours too.

daisymummy2camranandemmilllly · 06/10/2007 01:01

I tried mine at night and DD was soaking in the morning, it was running out of the wrap, but she is quite a heavy wetter.

Dragonhart · 07/10/2007 20:53

Dd is not a heavy wetter and an unboosted wambamboo/bambineo easily lasts her through the night without getting wet around the hips even. All sounds good.

Sorry though, are they actually doing the nippa ones Flame? Thought they were ment to be in sept?
