Dinner ideas

Sorry, no idea where to post this!

What does everyone feed their families at Dinner time??

We have a (just turned) 3 year old and a 4 month old. Partner works full time & I have about 1 second to myself a day, so looking for quick and easy, healthy dinner ideas.

We've been eating the same things for the past 4 months - mainly pasta dishes or stuff from the freezer, so looking to branch out a bit!!

Thanks

Im a big fan of stews/casseroles because you can bung it all in one pot, put it in the oven and forget about it for a while.

Also - do you have a slow cooker? You can literally put a meal on to cook and forget about it for 12 hours if you set it to 'slow'

I do a few ‘microwave’ recipes

Otherwise:
Sausages and mash
Jacket potatoes and beans or tuna mayo (I have cottage cheese on mine)
Pitta pizzas
Omelettes

Sunday - chicken enchilada
Monday - veg lasagne
Tuesday - veg lasagne
Weds - burrito bowl (chicken, spicy rice and avocado)
Thursday - chilli
Friday - chicken curry
Saturday - haddock and leek risotto

My weeks meal planner. The chilli and curry will be slow cooked and make enough for another day.

I use simplycook spice boxes - love them. That’s the burrito bowl and curry.

BBC good food is my bible.
