Me and my partner have started leaving the house again, we stay in Scotland, my little girl was born in March just when coronavirus started getting crazy

what can I do with my little girl and partner? We went out for the first time a couple days ago, we went some shopping and stopped at a cafe for some lunch, not much is open in Scotland, no swimming baths, play area's or anything like that

What have you been doing to keep your family occupied?
My partner works full time from home and being inside with the baby all day is starting to drive me bonkers, Any ideas on what we could do as a family or me and baby can do when dad is at work

Also may I add, I love spending every minute with my little girl but 5 months just playing with toys in the living room is getting repetitive

Hi, I'd say anything outside, just get out for walks and to nice parks?

Do you have a baby carrier? Can go more places than with a pushchair. If you had a baby carrier then you can take them to see almost anything, like cityfarms or arboretum or outdoor sculpture without them getting restless hopefully.

At 5 months I went where I wanted mostly, lots of galleries and gardens Smile

I meant went where I wanted as in adult places rather than to children's activities - obviously it's tougher with things closed!

That's such a tough age too. My DD is 7 months and she'd just constantly whine until she worked out how to sit up independently. Then life got a bit easier with her.

Look up lavender farms. There's a few where I live and you can get some lovely pics.

In fact, ask on a local fb group where is open and buggy friendly.

I meant she'd constantly whine at 5 months until she worked out how to sit a few weeks later

I have a nearly 5 month old and ive been going for A LOT of walks. I got a forward facing sling that my son likes being in because he likes looking around. Thats been good. Other than that, its just been a few coffees here and there. But mainly a lot of walks 😂
