Rotavirus vaccine - side effects

My DS had his first lot of vaccines on Monday. I still feel like he's not himself - he's normally quite laid back, but he has been doing so much crying the last few days. I feel like the rotavirus vaccine might be the cause, as he is doing some horrible smelling farts and his tummy sounds very gurgly.

Anyone else still had side effects several days after vaccines, and how long was it to get back to normal? I miss my happy boy!

Yeah, mine clearly had tummy ache for a few days afterwards, he was clenching and writhing like he had stomach cramps. I don't remember it lasting more than a week. Hope yours is feeling better soon!

Normal. It’s a live virus which they take orally.

Yeah mine took about a week to get back to normal, she just wasn't herself, and everyone from antenatal group said the same.

Yep I definitely found this! DD did some crazy poos after having hers 🤢

It's live in the poohs. You have to take care not to catch it yourself.
