Need advice please.

My lo was last weighed in March. I used to take her to baby clinic but because of covid that is not taking place anymore.

She is now 9 monthd and two weeks.

Is this check a must or shall I just wait for 12 month check?

Thank you

Usually there is a HV check around 8-12 months (when varies depending on where you live). They will contact you to arrange it so you don't have to do anything. My youngest is older now, but he just had his 2 year check (that's the next one) and it was all done remotely by the phone. They basically just ask a lot of questions and ask you to do some things to assess development.

We just had our 9 month check was just a call and asked a few questions on development. My area don’t weigh babies at their checks unless there is any concern from them or the parents.

Have you been offered a check? Because if you have, it's likely that your area do this one but not a 1 year check, as the questionnaire is designed to cover quite an age range. Obviously you don't have to attend but if you don't, it's likely that you won't be offered another until aged 2
