I want to put together a little gift bag for a new mum. Budget maybe 20 quid. What should I put in it? (For the mum not the baby)

I did a similar thing for a friend last year I included:
Her fave alcohol (she loves the flavoured ciders so that was quite cheap). You could do a mini wine or Prosecco
Some luxury chocolate.
Some face masks bits and bobs
Some nice coffee
Fluffy socks (it was winter)
I also made her some voucher for her, partner and baby to come for us for a home cooked meal and another voucher for me and my husband to babysit and also one of us to drive them to town and home again for when they were ready to go out.

I would love it if someone did this for me! 😇

I had to send hubby to the shops for bits I didnt anticipate needing so much of and thought it would be a good practical present for a new mum like
Breast pads
Maternity towels
Large comfy knickers
Lavender oil (was soothing for down below whilst in the bath)
Ibuprofen and paracetamol
Not as fun as suggestions above but might be handy to throw in as little extras if your close to the new mum Smile

My sister put me together a little gift bag when I came home from hospital a few weeks ago. It had;

A new "I love you mummy" mug (my now favourite mug!!!!)
New fresh pjs.
Big baggy pants.
A face mask.
Dry shampoo.
Sweets.
Milestone cards.

My mum got me a new candle that smelt lovely because she knows if my house smells nice I'm more relaxed.

My partner had gotten me a pandora charm with mummy on for when I got home.

To be honest, my favourite gifts were the mummy presents and the baggy pants and pjs. I felt so much more relaxed coming home and getting into nice clean pjs that evening.
