Baby bringing mucus up 17 days

Baby has been bringing mucus up since day one but he used to be okay yesterday he started choking on his mucus and crying and stopping breathing for 2-3 seconds we had to call ambulance and took him hospital hw was okay after that did this happen to anyone else ? Till when did they stop bringing mucus up doctor said he should stop after 4 weeks

Anyone ?

Oh god I feel for you what a horrible thing to go through. My little one has stopped now and she's 3 weeks 4 days old. But at the start she was bringing it up terrible. Now it's just sneezes which I can cope with.
