Rash following Amoxicillin

So my DD had a temperature of 38.6 on Sunday, she'd been quite lethargic and irritable too. I called 111 and we were seen by an OOH GP who said it was just an ear infection but that her throat was sore too, he prescribed Amoxicillin. DD had two doses of amoxicillin on Sunday and 3 doses on Monday(yesterday) I noticed she was developing a rash so immediately stopped with the medication as he dad & gran are both allergic to penicillin. DD's temp is back to normal and she is brighter in herself but the rash appears worse today and I feel like I'm paranoid that she could have something more serious. Has anyone else experienced this?

You need to see a doctor. She could be allergic too. Call 111 for advice.

I explained to the doctor at the time about her dad/gran being allergic. He said to stop administering the antibiotics if she has side effects such as a rash, trouble breathing etc.. I'm just concerned that the rash could be something else even though it looks like the rashes when googling amoxicillin reactions

Sounds like the rash came on relatively late after you gave the antibiotic. I'd call a doctor to make sure it's nothing serious. Better safe than sorry.
