Hi everyone I've had a baby 4 months ago and my hair is falling out, I know it's normal due to hormones but 4 months on?? When will this stop? My hair is getting everywhere it's ridiculous..

@mummyofgirls123 6 months down the line for me and its still happening although I must admit it is a lot better than it was and it's desperate for a cut now 😂xx

I think 4 months was pretty bang on when the worst hair loss was - 3 or 4 anyway.

I have very, very thick hair so was lucky that my hait was actually more manageable than usual with less of it, but washing my hair felt disgusting.

It all grew back in but obviously that takes ages of annoying short bits around the hairline.

My hair loss lasted about 7 months. I asked my hairdresser and she said it was pretty normal. I had it cut a little shorter so it didn't feel like I was losing as much.

I’m at 8 months PP and it has subsided now, but at 6 months I thought I was going to end up bald!! Having it cut really helped, although my hairdresser did warn me when I stop breastfeeding it might start again 😑

Thanks everyone.. I've had my hair cut and quite a lot cut off and it's still falling out, just have to wait for it to sort itself out
