My lo is 13 weeks on Monday and on size 2 teats she is falling asleep half way thru her bottle now and then waking about half an hour later for the rest during the day.

Should I move up to size 3 even though it's not recommended until 6+ months.

Hi
I would certainly try it to see if you can get a better quality feed, tried my little boy on the size 3 a month ago when he was 5 months old however he became quite windy and sicky so I changed it back, will probably try them again soon now that he's 6 months but if the same happens will just stick the the 2s and accept a longer feed 😂😂xx

Try blowing on her face or tickling her feet to keep her awake

Before our DD was born we took a first-parents class. This is apparently a common enough occurrence that they actually discussed it. I'll try my best to describe what they showed us to do.
If you've ever seen the movie Inception the sensation of falling wakes people up. This apparently holds true even for babies. We were told to firmly support the baby's whole body especially the head and neck. Placing our hands under the baby's head with our arms along the full length of the baby's body we would 'swing' the baby's upper body down and then raise the baby back up. Not too fast but not slow either. Trying to simulate that feeling of falling.
HV said you can also do it by keeping her cool by exposing her chest and feet to the air.
