Dealing with Terrible Two's

Confused any tips from mums who have been through the terrible two's ?

My DD has just turned two and I just want to prepare for what's to come!

At the playground yesterday she sought have had a tantrum because she didn't want to go...I picked her up and it didn't last long. We then went off to the car and that was the end of it....

I'm thinking snacks on the go are also really important at this age too. Any good snacks to pack as well......

Thanks heaps!

It might not happen. And it doesn't magically stop when they turn 3 either

But hunger is a large part of the trigger here, snacks of choice vary but sultanas, fruit, crackers, cheese depending on day

Remember tantrums are kids' brain splurges for emotion and thoughts they can't yet process. It's not being naughty. Best thing you can do is stay calm and show them that you can regulate yourself, be consistent and they will eventually absorb that. I really like @drbeckyathome on Instagram for parenting advice, she's really relatable.
