9month old is commando crawling but she is desperatly trying to get on all fours - rocks back and fourth the falls down.
Going on for a month! I don't know how to help her.
She can easily commando crawl but trying so hardcto be on all fours. Then she gives up and starts again.

Anyone else lo experience this?

She will get there. I’m afraid she just had to figure it out.

Mine did this for months. She crawled properly at 13 months. She will get there in her own time. I dong think anything speeds these things up.

You don't need to help, children learn in their own time. And some just never do. My eldest comando crawled and never crawled but would go into the crawl position. He was the speediest dc I knew.
One dt crawled but the other only crawled occasionally preferring to comando crawl.
So 3 dc all different and developed their own ways of travelling around.

We have a pull and drag crawl - baby delighted doing so and does it very fast - too fast for my liking.

Ah seems like a long long wait!

She'll get the hang of it. DD was 6/7 months when she started to crawl... Backwards! She'd push with her arms, but not her legs, so wound up moving away from the object of her desire. To her great and oh so very loud frustration.

Over the next few months she mastered a commando crawl. Just after she turned 10 months, it's become a proper high speed crawl. In that time she also figured out: rolling, sitting from crawl position, pull to stand and cruising.

When they're getting frustrated, it feels like it's taking forever. But once they can do it, you look back and realise it was actually pretty quick.
