Best sofa with baby?

Planning on ordering a new sofa (will either be from Next or somewhere similar) and I’m not sure what fabric is best with a baby around? Thinking navy colour and not a fan of leather. We currently have one which is classed as fine velvet and it is a nightmare, almost impossible to clean and I can’t wait to see the back of it before baby arrives😊

Removable washable covers. Other than that... any colour you like!
(Our family sofas are grey and the room is white/grey with pink/blush accents).
Our 'posh' (child-free) front room is a teal velvet sofa. Children not allowed to sit on it!

We've got mid grey - child muck comes in a variety of shades so I think both dark and light colours come with their own issues. Something washable is probably best!

We got ours from DFS and paid extra for essential spillage insurance where if a stain doesn’t come out they’ll come and clean it for us. Very useful!

I've got dark charcoal grey. With toddlers. It's fantastic

We've got IKEA with dark grey removable covers. I honestly hate to think the state it would be without them...

I'll second that stains come in a surprising amount of colours! Some of them really show up on a dark fabric

Any colour as long as they unzip and go into the wash Smile

Leather (the real stuff) is a godsend.
