DS1 is 8 and DS2 is 6. They are both normal, bright boys though very different personalities from each other: one is extrovert, happy-go-lucky and sociable, the other introverted, sensitive and tends to get obsessed with things. What they have in common is being hopelessly disorganised. They both regularly lose stuff at school (more than other kids their age), leave things all over the place even when reminded, forget to pass on messages etc etc. I am trying to support them to develop some kind of system to keep things in order but whenever I'm not there it just collapses; they don't seem to notice. Anyone have some tried and tested ideas for getting boys to organise themselves? Or will they grow out of it soon anyway?
