Hi - mums of 2 year olds- what are your schedules?

I feel like I need to revisit mine - my DD naps some days and others - nope! Sleeps 7.30pm to 7.30am when she doesn't nap.

My DS is almost two. He is an early riser so up a between 4 and 5 every day. He naps for 1.5 hours at 10 then in bed for 7pm and sleeps through.

My 2year old sleeps 8pmish to 6amish with a 2hr nap after lunch. I think it depends on the child when they drop their nap.

Sometimes our bedtimes can go on forever and I wonder if we should be dropping his nap, but having a break in middle of the day is nice!

My 2 1/2 year old seems to have just dropped her nap, or just naps now and again - we'll see! She sleeps 7 until 7 though so can't complain.

Mine is 2 and a half , wakes about 5:30am , no nap at all and then goes bed at 7pm but will often wake up during the night a couple of times

@coffeeaddiction all the BrewBrewBrewDaffodilDaffodilDaffodil and 🍫 to you!

My DD does that bit only when she's teething.
What do you do to have a break during the day? How many times do they wake at night?

He's pretty good at having a chilled out hour on the sofa watching tv so that's my time to get jobs done / down several cups of coffee 😂
He normally wakes up 2/3 times between 12 and 3am for about 30/45 mins each time but to be honest it's actually an improvement to his previous sleeping habits since he was born - I just make sure I get an early night !!

My 22 month old has dropped his naps.
He may have a nap once a week to catch up if he's reslly tired.
He goes to bed at 7.30/8pm and sleeps til about 8 30am.
The other morning he didn't wake til 9.20 so he must have been tired from dropping the naps!
I'm just going with it. He's adjusting well to the no nap.

Ducky1900 · 28/07/2020 21:19

Bedtime is so easy when he hasn't napped though, straight into his cot and asleep within 5 minutes!
It's lovely to not have to spend an hour up here settling him!

Mine is 2.5 yrs old and I’ve just adjusted her schedule. She was napping too long in the day which resulted in messing around and bedtime and night waking.
Now she does
7.30am wake
1-2 nap (max 45 mins)
7.15pm bed
