Toddler cold

Morning all.

Out DD 15 months old, hasn't slept at all well last few nights, starting to feel like a zombie with a newborn again lol! I'd forgotten what it was like.

She isn't overly upset at night but just moans constantly for hours no matter what we do. We have a small house so no chance of taking it in turns each night.

Any suggestions or things that have helped your little ones settle with a stuffy nose?

We were thinking of TTC baby number two soon, but now I've remembered how it feels with newborn I'm not sure I can do it again lol

Snuffle babe on the chest works well. Or Vicks on the outside of the pyjamas (not directly on skin).

Saline spray. They have them at chemist. It's not nice when you're putting it up their nose but it always cleared my babies noses out and that would help them sleep.
Also, calpol plug ins or a humidifier in room with a little essential oil ( we used one specific decongestant blend).
Good Luck!

I used to give mine calpol and then a snuffle baby chest rub.

Things I have tried in the past, with varying results:

Calpol plug in
Raise head of cot mattress (hard back books between mattress and bed)
Damp cloth on radiator with drops of olbasoil (when heating is on)
Nasal saline spray
Difflam spray for coughs
Drops of olbasoil on mattress

I dread my toddler getting a cold - I feel your pain!
