Best overnight nappy booster???

Currently using the Alvababy's which are brilliant but DS has started heavy wetting on a night and is leaking through about 1am when the nappy went on about 8pm usually so i was wondering what everyone use's for night time boosters? Ive looked at the hemp boosters but i dont want to overstuff the pocket and end up with compression leaks 😬 changing him around this time through the night really disrupts his sleep so i'd rather he could sleep through to 6 or 7 before needing a change 🙏

I use Alva baby's and really rate them during the day but couldn't get them to go more than 6 hours without leaking on my 4 month old at night. I tried 2x bamboo boosters and then swapped to 2x charcoal boosters but neither seemed up to it and I too was worried about over stuffing.
Last night I swapped to some old secondhand motherease ones I was gifted and had no leaks at all despite a very heavy nappy in the morning.
It may just be that you need to get a different brand of nappy for night and if you are washing nappies everyday/other day, you would only need 2-4 nappies. I think Little Lamb are similar to Motherease and they do a night time bundle for less than £50 as I was looking last night before remembering I had these old ones stashed away.

Little lamb. I use a bamboo nappy with 3 bamboo boosters on my toddler, which does him all night.
I'm impressed that you have a pocket to last that long!

I normally stick them into wash every other day we have 35 alvas and about 40 inserts mostly the 5 layer charcoal ones. Is motherease a pocket system to or are there different parts to them ? Will have a look on little lambs for the night bundle too Grin he goes through about 5 nappies during the day sometimes more but tonight is the first night he's sprung a leak from the side so think the max an alva would last is 5hrs ish

Agree about pockets. We use them for daytime but I'd say a 2 part system is probably your best bet for nighttimes. It's common to have dedicated night nappies which are different from your day system.

Look on the Nappy Lady site for good advice. I use a disposable at night with a triple bamboo booster, as I don't want to have to mess about finding a good cloth night nappy. During the day we use pockets with 2 bamboo inserts (baby is 1year). They're great because they're so easy and quick drying, but they're not the most absorbent.

I’d swap to a two parter for nights. I’ve had some success with pockets overnight in an emergency but you’re playing with fire really.

We currently use a Motherease Sandys with a Baba and Boo hemp booster and a Little Lamb Triple Bamboo, and a wool cover or Motherease Rikki Wrap. It’s pretty much bombproof for an insanely heavy wetting toddler.

Ordered him a few little lambs bamboo ones with the bombproof wraps hopefully that does the trick 👍
