Teeth brushing battles

Hi all
Does anyone have any tips on how to get a good brush of their child’s teeth? My daughter is 15 months old and used to be ok with me doing this, she would brush mine and we would brush together etc now all of a sudden she HATES it. I feel awful shoving a brush in her mouth I have to physically restrain her because there is absolutely no way I could do it otherwise she kicks and screams and forces her mouth shut. It’s such an invasive thing to do and I really hate having to do this and am desperate for advice. I have also tried one of those gummy chewy toothbrushes but she hates that too.
Really appreciate your tips/advice on this

Its a phase almost all of them go through. You just have to bite the bullet, pin them down and get it done. Lots of cuddles after.

I’ve been having the same battle with my toddler too. We had some success watching YouTube toothbrushing videos whilst brushing his teeth, letting him have a toothbrush to try himself after we brush, using his toys to encourage him to brush their teeth, singing whilst brushing and counting down as we do so. The main thing is them getting used to it and knowing it is happening so they eventually stop fighting.

Phases or teething. If its teething I tend to go gently and very quickly over the teething area. It will pass jusy important to stick with it
