Speech and bottles

My 2.5 Yr old only mumbles he was saying words but has went back the way, I've spoken to speech and language and they say he's still young not to worry, kind of hard when you see all the other kids his age stringing sentences together. Also have a big problem getting him off his milk bottles. Has anyone went cold turkey. Feel completely stressed out with everyone pointing out what he can't do and what he should be doing. Grateful for any advice. Tia.

Both of mine had bottles way too old and both spoke early and well.

Unless your son is walking around with a bottle in his mouth all day, that won't affect him.

If you're worried, don't let anyone fob you off. Unfortunately, you have to push and push for help.

Has he got any other behaviours which worry you? How many words can he say? Also, does he understand instructions? And has he had his ears tested?
