No babbling!!!!!

Been saying dada mama gaga all day for the last month. So tired so saying. She just looks at me and laughs or just makes some other noise.

When did everyones lo start babbling?

Forgot to say she is 9 month old!

Is that not what babbling is?

Or do you mean you’ve been saying mama to her and she’s not copying?
My 11 month old rarely copies what I say but talks to herself and says the odd mama and dada. Don’t think she’s going to talk anytime soon, she’s far too focused on walking at the moment!

Oh lool said it's me saying it not her!

I think my lo is just focused on her crawling.. she can commando crawl but is persistant and keeps trying to crawl on her knees.. but it's not happening.

My DD was all vowel sounds and shrieks until this morning, when she started making a waaa waaa waaa sound... i was getting a little concerned as i have nothing else to think about (thanks lockdown) and she's nearly 9m. As PP said, i think she's been focusing much more on physical development, like pulling herself up at the coffee table and trying to tip my boiling hot mug of tea over herself... sigh
