I have been dropping the vitamins onto the dummy and getting LO to suck it.

Does that count?

I used to use a spoon and she used to spit it out.

Now I'm wondering if me putting it on the dummy is as effective? (Sorry if this is a silly question ftm.. )

Good idea. We had to use bribery with one child, chocolate buttons. The other would take any medicine without a fuss. You just have to adapt.
