Should I wake my 11 week old during the day for feeds

Hi I'm a FTM. My DS is 11 weeks old and was wondering if I still need to be waking him for feeds if he's gone three hours or more between feeds.

He usually has a nap about 2 hours-2.5 hours after his last feed... so should I wake him up to feed or let him tell me when he's hungry?

If there are no concerns about weight gain I can't see why you'd need to wake them by 11 weeks. Enjoy the peace!

It depends if you are keen to get into a routine really. I would have done, but that would just be to keep her milk intake up during the day, as well as to keep to a routine (which really helped her sleep & general contentedness).

If you & baby are happier going with the flow and there are no concerns about weight then I would let baby sleep.

nb- id never wake for a feed at night!

If no weight concerns I wouldn’t wake, they’ll soon tell you if they are hungry. At that age my LB went 2-4 hours between feeds.

If he's gaining well, do not wake him. He will let you know when it's time to feed.
