Settling at nursery?

Gs is 19 months old fourth nursery session today (over 3 weeks while he settles in) I'm told he loves it but I'm struggling to settle him at night

I know it's a change to his routine but how do you know if they're adjusting or genuinely unhappy?

What's his nap schedule at nursery, does he have one? Mine sleeps a lot longer at nursery than at home, I often struggle to settle her.

I don't think it's a sign he doesn't like it, I think any big change good or bad can unsettle them at this age. I think mine gets overstimulated and overtired there and that also contributes to not sleeping. I'd go mostly off what the nursery is saying about how he is when he's there.

He only has one nap a day (dropped his second nap 4/5 months ago) that's 1.5 hours in the morning

His nursery sessions are 1-6pm but he's only been doing 2 hours, today was 4 hours

It's really normal for them to be unsettled when they have a big change like starting nursery. It's happened with both of mine. It takes a couple months to really settle in and then it gets easier. Change is hard when you're little, but you just have to persist.
