Weaning - help!

Our 8 month old has been weaning since 5 months and she was doing so well, now up to 3 meals a day and dropped two bottles. However she has, for the last 2-3 weeks been a nightmare with eating solids unless it's banana or yoghurt! We introduced fruit late, we've tried putting fruit in savoury food, we've tried purée / lumpy / finger food. She just winges at everything after a few mouthfuls! Is this a standard phase they go through?

Is she self feeding? If so probably best to start. DS loves fruit, cheese, toast, and anything creamy like yoghurt but needs to touch and test textures before he’ll try them. I also serve new foods with ones he likes - he’ll start with his comfortable foods but will nearly always try and eat the new ones eventually after a bit of experimentation.

Every time my dd is teething she goes off her food. Last teething, she had 4 teeth come through over a month.
