Hi
Just curious how many naps at 6 months your baby was having, 3 or 4??
Also how long do/did you leave it before last nap and bedtime??
Thank you all :D xx

Hi, my dd is 2 now but at 6 months she tended to have 3 naps. The last one was just a short one to get her to bedtime. I found the 2 3 4 hr gap routine to be good - 2 hrs then first nap, after waking up from that one, 3 hours until next nap

GrumpyHoonMain · 21/07/2020 15:37

3 usually. Sometimes 4 if he didn’t sleep through the night

Quackersandcheese3 · 21/07/2020 16:00

Usually 2 . Morning 1 hour , afternoon 2/3 hours. Last nap up at 4/5. Bedtime 7ish .

My daughter is 4 months and has 3 naps a day, usually 40 to 60 minutes each nap. Bed at 7 and wake up at 7 (she doesnt sleep all through)

I seem to remember my older daughter going down to 2 naps at about 8 or 9 months.

At 6 months we just managed to get into a nice 3 nap routine. By 8 months it was down to 2 naps.

PeacefulInTheDeep · 21/07/2020 20:32

My DS had 3 at that age. Something like:
7am wake
9-10 nap
12-2 nap
4.30-5 nap
7pm bedtime

Still working on this with DD at 5.5 months!

Dexy2020 · 22/07/2020 13:23

All sounds normal then thank you :D My little boy has 3/4 but definately 4 if he gets up really early like today for instance was up at 05:30 😭 hopefully he will start to nap longer than 30/45mins soon so we can drop that 4th nap as takes a long time to get him to settle but if he doesn't have it he's unsettled during the night xx
