Travelling with kids

Me and my DH really want to continue travel as it’s our passion, necessary for his job and how we met but is it unfair on our kids and future kids? By travelling I mean moving to a country for a year or two and them going somewhere else as that is what my DH’s job entails. Would it be better for just him to travel and come back every couple of months?

It’s what I did as a child until secondary school where we stayed in the Cape Town for 5 years with my father coming home every 2 months and i really missed moving but I don’t know how my children will cope with moving schools that often etc

I think it gets harder as dc get older.
There are still kids that do the expat thing but usually by starting GCSE work at the latest they need to be settled.
