Newborn baby- Covid 19 risk

I was just wondering how anyone in a similar situation is feeling and what they are doing/not doing. We have a 5 week old baby so want to be cautious when it comes to socialising/going out with everything going on. However we also have a 3 yr old DS who is finding it difficult not socialising with other children. We have seen grandparents and have had a few family days out in outdoor places but not much else. My husband is back at work and has been since our baby was a week old.

Most people we know seem to be ‘back to normal’. I get the impression they think we are being too cautious and don’t understand why we haven’t had visitors to see the new baby. I am aware of the current guidelines set out by the government, however most people seem to be disregarding them now. It’s so confusing Confused
