Premature/Tiny Baby Cloth Nappy Loan Scheme - Look Here if you want to borrow or help!

Right.

Lots of people with teeny babies not fitting into their newborn sized cloth.

I want to set up a loan scheme, but it is going to require funding!

The first people to participate will need to buy the wraps full price, and they will get a 70% refund when they are returned. They can be kept for as long as their child needs them.

From there on in when I have the used nappies ready in the system to send out again, it will be a deposit system only. You pay a deposit, and the postage costs both ways, and you can borrow the wraps for as long as needed.

ALL wraps will be washed by myself before they are sent onto the next person.

If anyone has any preemie sized nappies or wraps (XS motherease rikki are ideal) that they want to donate to the system, then please contact me - bumfluffnappies at gmail dot com and we can arrange adding them in.

I am doing this just for mumsnet mums, and it is on a non-profit basis.

I will work on getting it set up properly over the next few days, but for the time being, if you are interested then please email me.

I will consider adding preemie fuzzi bunz into the system at a later date, but I think that any nappies (other than those donated by MNers) may require a handling fee as I will need a lot more in the system to cope with demand.

Hi Flame

This is a great idea, and I'd love to help you out immediately. Trouble is I need my tiny nappies come March, so I'd like to hang on to them until then. If the scheme is still up and running come April or so, I'd be very glad to donate my bimble, kissaluvs and tiny wraps.

Flamesparrow · 02/10/2007 13:58

Thank you

I've got a small nature babies stuffable lite, a happy heineys in small, and an "unknown" small pocket that I bought second hand, plus my beloved bimble you can have. I've also got two nature babies wraps in small that I bought new off ebay, but were the wrong size.

If they are any use, but they may be too big for your requirements.

daisyandbabybootoo · 05/10/2007 15:08

Forgot to say...what a fab idea

Flamesparrow · 05/10/2007 15:09

Ooh the bimble would be gratefully recieved! I think that the others will probably be too big for preemies though

Thank you!

What a lovely idea!

I have a small cotton bottoms wrap you can have if it's not too big!

Flamesparrow · 05/10/2007 21:51

Oooh cotton bottoms come up smaller than others (where it is a prefold one), so yes please

loonylovegood · 05/10/2007 22:41

Email me(hollyandalice at hotmail.co.uk) with your address Flame and I'll send it to you when this bloody strike is over!

I've got some spare prefolds as well. Would they would be of any use?

CindersNeedsHelp · 21/11/2007 17:14

Just thought I?d give this thread a bump and ask how you?re doing with the teeny tiny loan scheme?

sparklygothkat · 21/11/2007 17:20

I have some prefolds, which I used for callum when he was 4lb. would they be of use?

Flamesparrow · 21/11/2007 21:02

Oooh - did I ever email you?

I haven't set up much more tbh, mainly because I am cr*p.

I need to get it more publicised. Why the hell didn't I buy teeny cotton bottoms when they were selling them off... will go check the site.

Teeny prefolds would be fabulous

Either email bumfluffnappies at gmail dot com, or my address is on the website

I have just ordered 10 newborn cotton bottoms wraps

OP posts:
sparklygothkat · 21/11/2007 23:37

I am not sure if they are teeny prefold, just the smallest one that Cotton bottoms did, I just folded them small.

Flamesparrow · 22/11/2007 08:48

The more I have to offer, the better - that way people can choose if they would prefer prefolds or shaped.

lisad123 · 24/11/2007 22:37
