I'm sure this question has been asked a million times but where do you buy your childrens school shoes??? Please don't say Clark's as my DD has successfully gone through three pairs within weeks and I refuse to go back Confused I've also tried Asda and sainsburys with limited success - she wrecked them after a term too Confused We used to live abroad and always got her the american version of startrite shoes with no problems whatsoever but the price of them here is just crazy - any ideas??

Treads indestructible school schools. If they bust them they are replaced for free not questions asked. They were great for my son, although quite heavy as they as so robust.

They are only available online but they do have a measuring guide on the website.

Agree, Clarks and supermarket shoes don't last five minutes. Supermarket shoes is forgiveable as at least they're cheap but I think Clarks are a total waste of money.
I buy mine from Geox - very good quality so worth the money. My kids are very into climbing, kicking etc (Ds, Dd) so I get them both the 'Savage' model, very robust and last a whole school year (my children also grow slowly Grin)
The company are good and handle faults/returns well ime.

We had the same issue with Clarks but now go to marks and Spencer and they have been brilliant

Geox Savage are excellent.
We have had a lot of success with M&S school shoes. Mid price but last longer than Clark’s.
DM are good too.

We went with start rite bought online in the sale

Ooh ok thank you some new ideas to try then! Hadn't even heard of Geox or treads. Interesting about M&s never considered them! Xxx

Longest lasting pair I had were from Asda (but their slightly posher range). DD2 is really hard on shoes because of her strange gait and tripping constantly and they were one of the few pairs to be outgrown rather than wrecked.

Geox or Kickers, DD has Kickers patent boots which are also good with dresses for parties etc.

Marks and Spencer's scuff-resistant shoes have been long lasting but similar shoes at Debenhams and Matalan have faired well.
