Hey, Iv got a 2 year old and Iv just had a baby boy. My 2 year old has been at her nanny’s a few days while I settle in with the baby, she comes home tomorrow and I cannot wait to see her! But I can’t help be really nervous about how it’s going to be! She is sleeping with me still aswel. Just wondered how people got on when having another baby at home and what to expect? Xx

Hi OP, where has she been sleeping at her Nannys? Her own room? Does she have a big girl bed at your home? Time for Nanny to have a chat about her going to her big girl bed when she gets home, 20mins bedtime stories and sleep in her bed. You will have to direct it or they take control and with a newborn you will need to be firm but still give her attention, and present from her little sibling helps too!

I agree, own room own bed. Ideally you'd have done it before you told her you were pregnant so she didn't feel pushed out by the new baby, but you definitely need her in her own room and her own bed, or the baby will ruin her sleep and you'll have a nonstop nightmare on your hands with an exhausted toddler and a newborn every day.
