Maternity return to work letter

Hey all,

Is anyone in the process of writing up their return to work letter?

My letter is due in 1 week as I’ve technically got 9 weeks until I plan on returning to work.
My issues-
My employer wants to know my days and hrs ect that I plan to work. I don’t have a nursery yet ! I have viewed a few that would allow and also have appointments to view a few in the next few weeks. Others I can’t view at all until further notice because of everything going on. Anyone having this issue?
If I wrote in my letter that I plan to return on .. date and plan to work three days but I cannot confirm what days these will be or what hrs for another few weeks.
Will this be acceptable?
I’ve tired several times to contact my employer to discuss the issues I’m having but all she keeps saying is write letter then we will have meeting !

Thanks

I'd write with date of return, that you want to work 3 days per week, but keep the rest vague and say actual days / hours to be discussed /confirmed nearer the time.
The find out which nurseries you like, and which days the nurseries can offer and get in to see work and find out what suits best and which days they want you. Hopefully you'll be able to tie it all in together.
