I feel bad as for the last week or so my 28 month old has watched a bit too much tv.its Cos my second baby is due in 5 weeks and my son wants a lot of attention and sometimes I just can't give it as I'm worn out. Obvs hubby helps loads when he's here but so far today son has watched

Hour tv in morning
Half hour mid morning
20 mins lunchtime
An hour eve

Can you read to him instead? Calm sitting down activity, no energy required. Or if you have to resort to screen time, can you sit and watch with him, and talk to him about what's going on, so he's still getting stimulation and interaction rather than just being babysat by the box?

@sapphire54925 brilliant! Maybe get a bunch of new books and do that instead of TV? Also new books would be a good "new baby" present
