So whenever I am holding my baby in my arms , and his head and mine are at same height , sometimes he's like watching outside the window , so I see back side of his head, but suddenly he turns his head in my direction, and since this is so sudden his head actually bumps with my face bones :/ and it hurts me slightly but I wonder how much would it be hurting my baby and if its dangerous
till now I think he's already done this around 5-6 times atleast,
and after every bump with me he appears confused for a second but then totally normal afterwards .

he's 5 months old now

Maybe hold him lower down or in a sling facing outwards so he can look out the window

I wouldn’t be overly worried about a bump from a baby simply turning their head as presumably it wouldn’t be that hard a bump?! Mine occasionally did sudden movements and ended up bashing their head against my face, maybe he’s still needing more support when being held?

The seeming confused After every small bump is a little worrying, so I’d mention that to the Health Visitor of GP.

DS broke my nose twice within 2 weeks when he was 14months old with the back of his head, he didnt flinch either time. Theyll cry if they get hurt. Im sure bambino is fine x
