Bathing with baby

My baby is nearly 10 week old now, and I was just wondering if we are able to bath together... silly question really ? I have a bath thermometer and obviously I would be holding her and wouldn't fill the bath up too much?

Yes I think that should be fine :)
Just be careful of her head

Yes, you might find its uncomfortably tepid for you though! Also might be best to do with someone else around to help get baby out when you're done as it can be pretty awkward juggling baby and towels!
Enjoy

Yes of course top tip do it whilst someone else is around then you can pass the baby to the other person. It can be a bit slippery and difficult to do otherwise.
I used to love doing this with our first she's 12 now...gets harder to do once you have more than one 😉

Put a swim nappy on the baby otherwise your bath might end rather quickly when the baby does a liquid poo in the bath Grin I speak from experience...

Yes, it's a lovely opportunity for skin to skin.

I bathed with both of mine right from day one! This continued daily for the best part of decade, it was a squash the last year or so.
Happy days!

Yes! I did with mine from the beginning, somewhat chilly with the 2 who were spring born but rather nice with the 3 summer norms (by the time it got chilly they were having it slightly warmer). Dh used to pass them in then fetch them out & get them dry in the early days. When they could sit I'd plonk them on the bath mat with a towel around them while I got out.

Yep absolutely fine! Watch the bowels though - I speak from experience 12 years ago but remember it like it was yesterday!
