My baby's growin up!!!

He came over and started bashing at his boy bits, so I asked if he wanted a fresh nappy... he said "Yeah!", wandered off and produced the changing mat, babywipes, and his longies (not a nappy though , but he insisted on longies rather than jeans).

Changed him and found poo!

He can't be old enough to tell me he is dirty.

He just can't.

He doesn't seem to notice if he poos without a nappy on though, so methinks tis just the sitting in it that offends

my ds is 16mo and does this - am waiting with excitment for when he asks for potty before poo

My 17 mo DS does this too. Do you do baby signing ? ?cause that?s where my boy got the sign from. He does it for sopping wet nappies too.

Boy started doing this at 17 months too. hes quite good at doing it at creche which is handy. staff think its V funny that he drags his bag over to them asking for changeing.
I was hpoing to wait till next summer to poty train but now think it may be sooner.
