Lots of jobs can be 'work from home' but you realistically need childcare, so they aren't much different from every other kind of job, but you have a shorter commute (assuming your childcare is close by). I've worked from home doing consulting in my professional field (what do you already do that you could do independently for others?), I've done transcription, dh works from home (well, workshop space in an outbuilding) and does an artistic sort of work. What are you good at? That's what you could work from home and do. But you will still need childcare, unless you have family or a partner who is home during the day and able to take your dc.

As PP said, you'll still need childcare to do any decent WFH job. There'll be small bits of admin you could do, but I don't think the entirity of your job could be done with a newborn.
Maybe the most straightforward job could perhaps be something to do with admin. But you definitely need attention to detail for that.
