Hi everyone,

Just wanted to see if this is around the right amount.

My 8 month old eats 2oz of breakfast, 2oz for lunch and 2 oz dinner.

Just about manages to drink 20z- 24oz of milk.

Sleep throughout the night. (Thank God)

So I try not give more solids.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

2 oz of what?

Depends on what you're giving. And the variety

If they'll eat more, give them more.

But if you can measure it so exactly, is it still puree?

I'm confused about the quantities at meal times? Is your little one not on solids? This is what my little boy was eating at 8 months.

Generally if nappies are ok, food is ok too I believe!

@sarge89 Oh thanks for sharing that!

I found a food container for baby food and it measures in oz..

@sarge89 sorry another questions. Did your lo eat all or pick and choose?

I would have absolutely no idea how much my 8 month old eats! I can get a vague idea by looking at what is left over, but that's about it!

Hi Smile We were really lucky and he's always been an amazing eater. He's 14 months now. Some meals do just go on the floor but I figure if he's hungry he'll eat! We did baby led weaning. And if worked well for us He's EBF so hard to judge milk intake, but at 8 months he was nursing 8-10 times a day I think.

@sarge89 thats great! I think my lo is just about starting to eat. She isnt a fan of formula - never has been :/ so im trying to be careful with the amount I offer so she continues to drink the formula.

My baby is just under 8 months, this is what she's eaten today - 7oz bottle this morning. Ate 3/4 weetabix. Had some chicken and rice at lunch. Then finished another 7oz bottle. Had half a beef casserole for dinner and just demolished 9oz! She'll then have a dream feed, 8oz with a rusk at 10pm.
