When do I add gaviscon to a bottle

does it go in when inout the powder in or when its cooled a bit? So confused!!

I just added it once the bottle had been made and then gave it a good shake. But i did add it before on occasion. I dont think it really matters 🙂

We made bottles in advance and kept them in the fridge. The Gaviscon was added after warming up for a feed. Try to swirl rather than shake, as this will reduce the amount of air bubbles in the bottle.

Bottles were made up then cooled to suitable temp and just before I gave DS a bottle I'd add the sachet.
I didn't leave the Gaviscon sitting in the bottle ready for when it was needed ( if you get what I'm trying to articulateGrin).
This was the way the paediatric nurse at hospital told me to do it- so we did.
Added when cooling just before needed.
