Present ideas for a vehicle mad toddler

Hi all,

My little boy is turning two in August. He is absolutely vehicle obsessed. He plays with his toy vehicles pretty much all day. Currently he enjoys just pushing them around the sofa, or lining them up and driving them away etc.

Looking for toy ideas that he can use his toy vehicles with. We don't have a lot of space so store massive bulky structures etc but I think he would enjoy driving his cars on something other than the sofa. Anyone got any good recommendations?

You can get some road tape from places from Flying Tiger or Amazon - you could stick it on some cardboard or thin wood so he could make his own tracks to go to round everywhere. We also got a road play mat from a friend that has been a big hit here. I'm with you on the storage space so I like the mat as it rolls up and fits down the side of my a cupboard.

Has he got a train track yet? That's been good for my DC - the cars and trains end up going on it! Our is just from IKEA.
