Can I have your tips and recs please? 5yo has been fully trained in the day since age 2 but just doesn't wake at night and will sleep right through being sodden. We use pull-ups, but he has spontaneously asked if he can stop wearing them.

I'm thinking an alarm - any people recommend? And some mats or something for the bed to make night changes easier? He tosses a lot so needs to be fairly secure Grin

Time. That's all he needs at the moment. Overnight wetting aged 5 is completly within typical development.
If he really wants to try, lots of fluid during the day, limited water from 2 hrs before bed, and double voiding at bedtime (so:toilet, bath, teeth, story, toilet, bed sort of thing.).

Started with mine in October and he was dry within 4 weeks. Was referred to a specialist who gave us an alarm which worked for a bit but then kept slipping out so gave up on that and just went cold turkey. He was 7 though, turned 8 in December. They tried him on the tablets first but they didn't work

My 8 yr old was never dry. I used to cry when they begged me not to put on a nappy. We tried all the tips. We saw specialists the lot

In the end. An amazon alarm thing. That was £30! Did the trick. We had to persevere though!

Oh. A huge tip from a friend of mine

Put pants. Put the alarm on the pants. Then put a pull up over that.

I had weeks of wet nights and didn't know what to do
