Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask but just wondering if anyone has any experience and can help? My baby has had problems with eczema and we couldn't get an NHS appt so saw a private consultant through our medical insurance. He was prescribed a regimen of ointments for 4 weeks. We have been using the first one for 3 days and seen a massive difference in his skin BUT his scalp has developed red crusty patches and I don't know if it's related to the cream or something else.
What's the procedure when you've been treated by a private consultant? Should I email their secretary to ask the doctor for advice or should I make appointment with our normal GP?
