Baby won’t sleep in pram during the day

My baby just turned 9 weeks and I’m struggling with her sleeping. During the daytime she will sleep on me but as soon as I put her down she wakes. I know she’s capable of sleeping on her own, as overnight she’s quite happy in her cot in our bedroom and generally sleeps well.

During the daytime I try to put her in her pram to sleep. Could it be that she doesn’t like the pram for some reason and should I try to buy something different, like a Sleepyhead? I don’t want to bring the cot downstairs during the day as it’s heavy, and I don’t want to buy loads of different sleep solutions only for her not to like any of them. Can anyone advise?

Just a note on the sleepyhead, if you do go ahead and buy one have a look at Purflo website first. I think they're basically the same, but way cheaper

@glasgowgal6 you could try just blanket on the floor, something that won't overheat the baby though. But I agree, if she is happy in her cot I'd let her sleep in it and get a monitor. My LO slept in his pram since the day he was born as I was outside, so I just parked the pram where I can see it and went around my business but all babies are different. It was also winter so I could make him nice snuggly with a blanket and not worry about overheating too much. Maybe she is too hot in the pram, my one is now 8m and in this weather he tends to be grumpy and too hot in the pram.
