My 4.5 week old ebf DD has suddenly decided to eat all day and not sleep - is this normal? And does it get better?? She has been checked over by the GP and I was told she’s a bit gassy but otherwise all ok (she gripes with trapped wind at night). Can anyone reassure me that this sudden non-stop feeding is normal and will end? That the wind will ease? And that this baby thing will get easier/better?! I’m struggling with lack of sleep and keep holding onto the idea that it gets better at 6 weeks....

Hi, my dd 'woke up' at around this age and needed more help to get to sleep compared to the early weeks. I found a sling was great for this. Or a walk in the pram sometimes. Or it could be a growth spurt? Do you wind her half way through feed/when you switch sides and after? If not that might help
