What time do you children wake up?

Basically as it says, what age are they and what time do they wake up? My ds and dd have started walking up really really early (which they never used to do) so just wondering what time other people's children wake up 😊

I'm writing this to give you hope!
Dd & ds are now teenagers, since lockdown I'm lucky if I see them before midday (don't worry they are doing school work!)
They used to be horrendous, 5am wasn't unusual, I can still vividly remember sitting slumped on the sofa waiting for CBeebies to start.
It will get better but op, you have my sympathy!

6:30 and if she's already awake (which is most days) we don't go to her before then. If she stirs very early, like before 6:00, she generally goes back to sleep for a bit. She's nearly 1yo.

Between 6 and 7 am

Cheesecakejar · 19/06/2020 11:21

18 month old anywhere between 5am-6.30am, SS(6) anywhere between 6.15-7.30am, I'm not to bothered about anything past 6am, before that I feel like the living dead 🙈

PerditaNitt · 19/06/2020 11:21

4 year old wakes up at 630. 2 year old wakes up at 5am (4.30 today); we are trying different things to try to get him to sleep later (changing nap times, meal times, etc), but with limited success. I sometimes console myself with the thought that when he is a teenager and wants to have a lie in, that I will take great pleasure in waking him up....(apologies, I’m rather sleep deprived)

firstimemamma · 19/06/2020 11:23

My nearly 2 year old used to sleep 7-7 but these days it's anything between 4 and 6!

snowybean · 19/06/2020 12:04

My five month old wakes up at 9:30/10am. I'm trying to get her up earlier!

firstimemamma · 19/06/2020 12:40

@snowybean can we swap children please?! Just for one day! 😂

bronzedgodesswannabe · 19/06/2020 15:07

My little boy (4) started waking up at 5.30am every day
Turns out he had worms and they can affect a child's sleep
Who knew

Day after taking tablet he's started sleeping until 7am and I feel like a new woman!

VinoOlive · 19/06/2020 15:09

Aged 4, wakes any time between 5-7am!

Ouchjuststoodonlego · 19/06/2020 15:11

If left to his own devices, about 8am. (age 3)
We have the occasional earlier wakes but not often and I have to drag him out of bed at 7 when nursery is on.

I thank my lucky stars daily. I am not a morning person.

xmummy2princesx · 19/06/2020 15:13

My 2 year old wakes up at 5 and watches cartoons in my bed with me until 6 and then my 5 month old will wake up about 6

sunshineandshowers21 · 19/06/2020 15:15

12 year old - about 11am.
6 year old - 10am.
19 month old - 8am.
6 week old - wakes at 5 for a feed then back to sleep until 8/8.30.

my kids are like me though and just love sleep! also i’d rather they went to bed later and slept later then go to bed early and then wake up at the crack of dawn. obviously pre lockdown there was a different routine but right now we’re enjoying the lazy life!

Purplequalitystreet · 19/06/2020 15:15

Usually between 5.30 and 6.30. Yesterday was 4.30. That was fun...

Mintjulia · 19/06/2020 15:21

Ds is nearly 12. Usually up at 7am but has suddenly started sleeping in. I haul him out at 8.15 if he isn’t up.

He’s suddenly eating a lot too.

Shinebright72 · 19/06/2020 15:25

07.30ish DS has always been a good sleeper since he past the baby stage he is now 5.

SquigglePigs · 19/06/2020 15:29

18 month old wakes up about 6ish give or take although she went through a couple of weeks of 4.30-5am a few weeks ago.

GenevaMaybe · 19/06/2020 15:33

5 year old around 7am, 2.5 year old closer to 8am.

ChaBishkoot · 19/06/2020 15:35

So when they were small babies both of mine woke around 6:30-7. Anything after 6:30 is usually ok for me on a weekday as they need to be up for school at 7.

At the moment the 3 year old wakes between 7-7:30 and the 8 year old between 8-8:30. The 3 year old goes to bed at 7. The 8 year old is in bed by 8 and reads till 8:30 and till 9 on Fridays and Saturdays.

BertieBotts · 19/06/2020 15:36

11yo about 8-10am depending how late he went to bed.

22mo between 5am and 6.30 😴

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz · 19/06/2020 15:39

Mine are 5&8. I hear them wake around 6.45-7am ish, they go to the loo then back to their rooms. They have clocks/GroClock which they use to know when to get up (7.30) but can obviously stay awake just in their rooms before that.

peajotter · 19/06/2020 15:39

2yo 8:30
6yo 8:00
9yo 7:30

We do late bedtimes though so we don’t get much of an evening.

MissusMaker · 19/06/2020 15:51

7 and 4year olds both wake between 8 and 8:30. We put them to bed late though because DH and I both hate mornings 😂

InDubiousBattle · 19/06/2020 16:21

My 4 and 6 year old get up at 7.30.
