Breastfeeding newborn with toddler around

I'm due in 3 weeks and fully intending to breastfeed again, but i'm worried how i'll manage with 16mth around too. He seems to need lots of chasing (he is VERY active!) and i have visions of bolting after him with a flapping newborn on my boobs!

Does anyone have tips for making b/feeding a newborn and entertaining a toddler at the same time?

Yes I can remember running through the park after DS with DD still latched on.
Actually me and DD got quite good at BF while making tea / playing football / doing playdough etc.

I didn't think DS had noticed the whole BF thing until I caught him experimentally twiddling his nipple!

Definitely agree with the babyproofing/toddlerproofing and use of CBeebies! Ds1 is 2 and I am b/fing ds2 and tbh he likes to entertain himself. When I had dd2, dd1 was 17 months and a lot more clingy/demanding of my attention - we did a lot of reading books at that time. She was happy as long as I was taking notice of her, she didn't mind dd2 being constantly in the way! I used to feed on the sofa rather than in the armchair too, so that she could snuggle up next to me.
