Annoying family

Is it just me or does anyone else notice family members being arsey with you over your baby? I find it really odd.... examples: my older sister was pushing my baby in the pram who had a light blanket over her coz I didn’t have any sun cream.... baby was fine and it was breezy anyway. Sister kept saying oh she’s too hot, she’s making that noise coz she’s too hot etc. I was like shut up she’s fine. FIL today pushing the pram and walking on the road next to a perfectly fine path.... I completely calmly said “there’s a car coming” he ignored me, I said again and pointed “there’s a car”. He finally went on the path and told me I was stressy.... Am I stressy? Honestly I am not exaggerating I was just blankly like “there is a car”, I knew my kid wouldn’t be harmed but it just made no sense to me. Do family members just always think they know best coz it’s my first kid? Or are they just pricks lol

I genuinely think babies send some family members a little batshit to be honest! Try to just ignore them if you can but it's hard, especially when the unsolicited (often totally outdated) advice starts coming...

@Fivebyfive2 hahaha thanks! It’s so odd isn’t it... I guess they’re just trying to be a little controlling? I can see why it would get annoying lol. I just ignore them 😂

Are you the youngest?

This happened/s to me too even with family members that don’t have children. I feel like some members of my family will never see me as a grown up. Now I’ve just accepted it and ignore them, I probably roll my eyes too much though.
