Stroller recommendations for tall parents ?

Any recommendations please? Budget is 200 max, so nothing too fancy. Silver cross ones are currently on offer, but I'm a bit of a newbie and Argos etc have been closed so haven't been able to test! Thanks x

We bought a White Lux off Gumtree. Are you buying for a newborn? Our one is pram+sitting part+car seat and we both are tall (170-190cm). Great pram, was second hand for £130. (newborn till 2-3 years).

I'm reasonably tall (5'8) and DH is tall and we have an uppababy vista, which we both found a better height than a lot of other prams. The stokke prams are also good for tall parents.

You'd be looking at second hand with your budget but they last well, our pram is now on our third baby and is still in great nick.

We have a nuna one, it's great for me and I'm 190cm/6'3, handle adjust pretty well. I take him for a 1hr+ walk most days and it's comfy.
No idea on price as my wife ordered it but it came with a flat pram attachment and a car seat and base on top of the normal pushchair so it is more than you'd need.

Bugaboo handles are adjustable. Avoid babyzen yoyo- they’re a fixed height and better for short people imo.

A stroller as in a buggy or a proper pram?

Proper pram I'd say a second hand bugaboo dp is 6 ft 2 and had no problems. We also had a chicco urban which was cheap and tall.

Stroller wise I found most of them quite low tbh I'm 5 ft 8. I ended up buying a hauck rapid 4 which had an adjustable handle and it was fab. Massive seat. Really sturdy. Lasted ages!

City mini GT! I'm 5'10" (DH is 6 feet) and it was definitely the best we'd used. You can get a newborn insert. Lasts years! It'll easily see you through 3 babies/toddlers.

I'm 5ft9 and partner is over 6ft, we liked the joke chrome dlx. I think it's about £250 though.

Haz1516 · 14/06/2020 09:03

Joie that should be, not joke.

Thanks guys, it doesnt need to be a travel system as we already have car seat etc. Baby is 6 months and we are looking for something more portable!

I'm 5ft 11 and have a Cosatto Supa 3 stroller which I've just switched my 5 month old to, is the perfect height for me. Also has a handle to carry it when folded (umbrella fold) which is handy!

Mummyofmay2020 · 14/06/2020 20:29

@HalfBloodPrince thanks for letting me know, this one is within my budget and some really nice designs online.. are there any cons or any major issues?

I love their patterns! The basket is rather small but that isn't really an issue for me personally. No issues other than that, is light and easy to push which I like, gets up and down curbs and steps easily! Handles the dodgy, uneven pavements round here too 😂
